Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and monitor detailed project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project

    • Lead the planning and scheduling function for high-rise construction projects from inception to completion

    • Prepare baseline programs, cash flow forecasts, and resource-loaded schedules

    • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project timelines

    • Track project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions

    • Conduct critical path analysis and provide recovery plans where necessary

    • Prepare and present periodic progress reports to senior management

    • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project milestones, and company standards

    • Support tendering teams with planning inputs, methodologies, and timelines

    • Mentor and guide junior planning engineers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in construction planning, with significant exposure to high-rise building projects

  • Proven experience in handling large-scale and complex construction projects

  • Strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project controls

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with international contractors or multi-national projects

  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and project control systems

  • PMP or equivalent certification is an added advantage
