Roles & Responsibilities

What You Will Do in TMS & Database Application Support

  • Deliver expert first and second-line support for our TMS and database platforms, troubleshooting issues efficiently and ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and clients seeking technical assistance with language technology, databases, and workflow automations.
  • Monitor, maintain, and ensure the optimal performance, uptime, and security of our translation management systems and related databases.
  • Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and integrations across multiple applications and platforms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with localisation, project management, and IT teams to resolve requests and improve our technology stack.
  • Document incidents, solutions, and user guides to build a comprehensive technical knowledge base.
  • Participate in system updates, releases, and the onboarding of new language technology solutions or enhancements.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and automation within our translation platforms and database systems.

Essential Skills and Experience for TMS & Application Support Specialists

  • Strong technical acumen and proven experience supporting TMS (such as XTM, SDL Trados, Memsource, or similar platforms), databases, or SaaS applications.
  • +1 year of experience in the Technical Support field.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and basic scripting or automation tools
  • Previous experience using the AI tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical users.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Experience supporting end users in a service desk or technical support environment is highly desirable.
  • Professional proficiency in any additional language is a plus but not required.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn new technology platforms.
