Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and construct precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, ensuring optimal performance and longevity for manufacturing processes.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints to fabricate tools and dies, maintaining strict adherence to specifications and tolerances.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools, including CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment, to shape and finish metal components.
  • Perform intricate hand-fitting and assembly of tool and die components, achieving precise alignments and smooth operation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on mathematics and shop-related courses.

  • Hold a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker certification or equivalent, demonstrating mastery of the trade.

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in tool and die making within a manufacturing environment.

  • Exhibit proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models.

  • Manufacture and design of metal deep draw progressive tools to manufacture eyelets and allied components
