Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Total Quality Director will lead the company s Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments, developing a unified quality culture across all business units. The role involves setting strategic goals to ensure all products comply with Jordanian Regulations (JFDA), international standards (ISO, HACCP, FSSC 22000), and internal quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Policy : Develop and execute group-wide quality strategies (QA/QC), including standardization of policies and procedures across all manufacturing and distribution entities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) regulations, including food labeling, additives, and safety standards.
  • FSMS/QMS Management: Lead the maintenance and upgrading of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), specifically ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000.
  • Audit Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for internal, external, and certification audits.
  • Operational Excellence : Drive continuous improvement initiatives (KPI monitoring) and oversee the reduction of quality costs, including operational and analytical costs.
  • Supplier Quality Assurance: Assess and monitor raw material quality, managing supplier standards to prevent issues before production.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education : Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or Nutrition.
  • Experience: 10 15+ years in a quality role, with at least 5 years in a senior management position within the Food FMCG or manufacturing sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, and ISO 9001:2015.
  • Local Market Experience: Strong understanding of the Jordanian market, JFDA, and local food safety laws.
  • Language: Excellent proficiency in Arabic and English.
