Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs), guarantees, and other trade instruments, ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policies.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with trade finance transactions, such as credit risk, country risk, and documentary discrepancies, safeguarding the bank's interests.
  • Review trade finance documentation for accuracy and compliance, including invoices, bills of lading, and other supporting documents, to minimize errors and disputes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their trade finance needs and providing tailored solutions to support their business goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in financial principles.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as the Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) or similar, demonstrating specialized knowledge.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in trade finance, showcasing practical expertise in managing various trade instruments.
  • Experience in working within a financial institution, particularly in a trade finance or corporate banking environment, indicating industry understanding.
