Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Sales Trader is responsible for selling of various non-ferrous metals (e.g., aluminium, copper, zinc, lead, nickel, tin, brass, stainless steel, precious metals) in their various forms (scrap, ingots, refined metals, alloys). The role requires a dynamic professional with a keen understanding of global commodity markets, supply chain dynamics, and a proven ability to execute complex trades.
Job Duties
Responsibilities
Conducting product & concerned market research regularly.
Selling Non-Ferrous metals (Copper, Aluminum, Brass, Lead, High Nickle).
Developing new markets with his expertise.
Sourcing new suppliers in the form of individuals, companies, factories & corporates.
Negotiating prices, contracts & other commercial terms to the best of ability.
Going of stock inspection as when needed.
Understanding business needs & engaging with stakeholders to meet their priorities and requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Ensuring fulfillment of contracts and on time deliveries.
Support and assist line managers as and when required.
Attending training for self-growth and product knowledge enhancement.
Adhering to SOPs of the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile
04-07 years of experience in relevant field (Metal Scrap and trading).
MBA / bachelor’s degree in Sales or Business-related field.
Strong negotiation skills.
Flexible to work.
Working Knowledge of SAP/MS office
Open to travel for work, conferences and exhibitions.
