Position Overview
The Trading Analyst role with Achieve Group in Dubai supports a leading commodities multinational within its Middle Distillates trading team. This position focuses on market analysis, modeling, and insight generation to support trading decisions across oil and petrochemical markets in a fast-paced, analytical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support traders with oil market analysis to identify and capture trading opportunities
- Develop and maintain analytical models covering physical supply and demand balances
- Analyze ship tracking, refinery runs, trade flows, tenders, and inventory data
- Produce regular market reports on price action, margins, spreads, and forward curves
- Formulate and recommend trade ideas based on quantitative and qualitative insights
- Innovate new analytical approaches to adapt to evolving oil and petrochemical markets
