Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute weekly and monthly tournaments and community meetups

  • Build and manage a strong local TCG community (WhatsApp, Discord, and in-store)

  • Oversee tournament structures, including formats, rules, pairings, and judging

  • Collaborate with store teams to ensure smooth event execution

  • Drive engagement through:

  • Event calendars

  • Leaderboards

  • Seasonal championships

  • Coordinate with the marketing team on:

  • Campaign planning and execution

  • Content creation (reels, event highlights, winner features)

  • Support revenue growth by driving sales of packs, decks, and accessories through events

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of:

  • Pokémon TCG

  • Magic: The Gathering

  • One Piece TCG

  • Yu-Gi-Oh

  • Proven experience organizing and managing tournaments (e.g., Swiss format, brackets)

  • Strong community-building mindset, beyond operational execution

  • Ability to confidently handle player interactions, disputes, and rulings

  • Highly organized, structured, and reliable


Preferred Skills

  • Judge certification (Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, or Yu-Gi-Oh)

  • Existing connections within local TCG communities

  • Basic content creation skills (filming and social media)

  • Prior experience in retail or gaming store environments
