Roles & Responsibilities

Job Brief

Our client in the financial brokerage industry is looking for a Trading Platform Specialist with deep expertise in CQG and TT platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day technical and operational support for trading infrastructure, ensuring seamless platform performance, and resolving trade-related issues.

You will work closely with vendors, clients, and internal teams to maintain uptime, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth trading experience.

Job Responsibilities



Platform Support CQG & TT

Provide first-line support for CQG and TT trading platforms.
Configure and onboard new users and trading accounts.
Troubleshoot real-time trading issues such as order routing errors, connection failures, and latency problems.
Monitor FIX sessions, exchange connections, and user entitlements.
Liaise with platform vendors (CQG, TT) during outages, upgrades, and for performance enhancements.

Trade Operations & Issue Resolution

Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies, rejections, and post-trade errors.
Support and maintain order and execution management systems (OMS/EMS).
Coordinate with exchanges, brokers, and clearing firms for order flow and allocation processes.
Perform trade corrections and allocations as necessary.

Monitoring & Maintenance

Continuously monitor system performance, including latency, throughput, and server uptime.
Conduct regular health checks and infrastructure diagnostics.
Participate in platform upgrade testing, patch deployments, and failover procedures.

Client Onboarding & User Management

Set up new traders with risk limits, market access, and product entitlements.
Manage permissions, account configurations, and API/FIX connectivity.
Assist with onboarding institutional clients and ensuring a compliant connectivity setup.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed records of incidents, technical issues, and their resolutions.
Prepare daily or weekly platform performance reports.
Document internal processes, troubleshooting guides, and system workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Requirements

Master s in Finance preferred or Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Accountancy from a recognized university.
3 5 years of relevant experience in a trading platform support or technical operations role in the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of Derivatives, CFDs, FX markets, and MetaTrader 5.
Experience working with CQG and Trading Technologies (TT) platforms is mandatory.
Familiarity with CRM systems, ADGM, and FSRA regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong general IT and systems knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
