Traffic Engineering Manager

Lead and manage traffic engineering projects from planning through execution.

Design, analyze, and optimize traffic control systems, including signals, signage, and road layouts. Conduct traffic studies, simulations, and data analysis to improve traffic efficiency and safety.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including urban planning, construction, and public agencies. Develop and implement traffic management strategies and policies.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national traffic regulations and standards. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.

Stay updated with advancements in smart traffic systems and transportation technologies

About you

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field. 12- 15 Years years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning.

Proven experience managing teams and large-scale projects.

Strong knowledge of traffic modeling tools (e.g.Aimsun, VISSIM, Synchro, or similar). Familiarity with traffic regulations and safety standards.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.

Experience with smart mobility solutions and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems). Exposure to sustainable transportation initiatives.
