Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer, adhering strictly to traffic laws and company regulations, ensuring the secure transportation of goods.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, meticulously documenting any mechanical issues or required maintenance.
  • Plan and navigate efficient routes using GPS and other navigational tools, considering traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules.
  • Secure cargo properly, utilizing appropriate methods like straps, chains, and tarps to prevent shifting or damage during transit.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the necessary endorsements, demonstrating legal authorization to operate commercial vehicles.
  • Has completed a high school diploma or equivalent, showcasing a foundational level of education and comprehension.
  • Holds a clean driving record with no major violations, reflecting a commitment to safe driving practices and responsibility.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, indicating familiarity with long-haul trucking and vehicle operation.
