Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and lead the business transformation roadmap across Asyad Logistics business unit verticals, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, growth priorities, and long-term value creation objectives.
Lead the Oman Post and Asyad Express integration program, defining the vision, roadmap, governance, workstreams, milestones, risks, and target outcomes for the integrated business.
Drive the integration of all e-commerce and logistics-related postal activities into Asyad Express, ensuring clarity of scope, ownership, and execution accountability.
Identify, evaluate, and capture synergy opportunities across resources, technology, infrastructure, physical assets, and support functions in order to improve efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
Lead the Oman Post retail transformation strategy, including rightsizing of the branch network and development of new retail products and services that improve footfall, utilization, customer relevance, and commercial performance.
Develop and assess strategic options for branch operating models, including outsourced and franchise-led models, to improve flexibility, reduce fixed cost exposure, and lower subsidy dependence.
Lead the strategic design and rollout roadmap for Oman s first national PUDO network, ensuring national coverage, commercial viability, customer convenience, and integration with the broader logistics ecosystem.
Oversee the land investment review program for postal properties, including assessment of strategic value, redevelopment potential, sell-off options, sub-lease opportunities, and monetization pathways for sites in high-demand areas.
Ensure transformation initiatives support the development of a commercially stronger, operationally efficient, and future-ready integrated business.
Operational:
Lead end-to-end transformation programs from strategy through execution, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, milestones, budgets, and business outcomes.
Coordinate and govern cross-functional workstreams involving operations, commercial, retail, technology, finance, HR, procurement, legal, and other support functions.
Track progress of strategic initiatives, proactively identify risks, issues, and interdependencies, and drive timely resolution through effective stakeholder engagement and governance.
Work alongside IMO and relevant business leaders to ensure post-acquisition interdependencies and future projects are identified early, structured properly, and executed in line with the agreed governance framework.
Lead the design and implementation of new commercial frameworks, processes, and procedures required to support the post-integration business model.
Support the development of a technology strategy and business ecosystem that addresses the current and future needs of the integrated postal, express, retail, and e-commerce business.
Ensure transformation programs are supported by robust business cases, clear success measures, disciplined implementation planning, and post-implementation review.
Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on program status, decisions required, key risks, financial implications, and value realization.
Lead and champion a continuous improvement mandate across Asyad Logistics business units, driving simplification, standardization, productivity improvement, and stronger business controls.
Identify structural opportunities to improve customer experience, branch economics, logistics efficiency, asset utilization, and cross-business collaboration.
Drive transformation in core areas such as operating model redesign, network optimization, retail modernization, digital enablement, service innovation, governance enhancement, and performance management.
Develop and implement transformation KPI frameworks to track delivery progress, synergy capture, cost reduction, branch performance, service quality, commercial outcomes, network utilization, and project benefits realization.
Promote a disciplined approach to change management, ensuring transformation initiatives are translated into sustainable ways of working and embedded effectively into the organization.
Drive integration and transformation decisions through fact-based analysis, business case evaluation, scenario planning, and practical implementation roadmaps.
Strengthen governance, risk management, and implementation discipline across the transformation portfolio to reduce execution failure and protect strategic value.
People:
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams across the transformation portfolio, creating strong alignment, ownership, and momentum across multiple stakeholders and business units.
- Build a high-performance transformation culture centered on accountability, execution discipline, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide direction, coaching, and leadership to PMO and project resources, while ensuring business unit leaders remain actively accountable for delivery in their respective workstreams.
- Drive strong stakeholder engagement across executive leadership, functional heads, and project teams to maintain alignment on priorities, decisions, and expected outcomes.
- Promote effective communication and change leadership across the organization to support adoption of new operating models, structures, processes, and commercial frameworks.
