Roles & Responsibilities

The Transition Team Manager is responsible for leading the mobilization and transition phase of the ENOWA Filling the Lake O&M contract. This role ensures a smooth transfer from construction and commissioning to full operational readiness, in compliance with ENOWA s requirements. The Transition Team Manager coordinates mobilization activities, documentation, training, system handovers, and readiness reviews to ensure that operations commence on time, safely, and efficiently

  • Lead and manage the Transition Team during mobilization and transition phases.
  • Develop and execute the Mobilization and Transition Plan in alignment with ENOWA s requirements.
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure seamless handover of assets to operations.
  • Validate preparation of operational documentation, including O&M manuals, procedures, and training materials produced by the constructors.
  • Plan and conduct training and inductions for operations and maintenance staff prior to commencement.
  • Manage initial spare parts, consumables, and tools readiness to support operations from Day 1.
  • Conduct readiness reviews and report mobilization progress to the Project Manager and ENOWA.
  • Ensure HSE and quality standards are embedded into all transition activities
  • Support incident-free transfer from construction/commissioning to O&M operations.
  • Provide regular reporting and escalate risks or delays to the Project Manager and ENOWA.
  • Act as focal point
    for ENOWA representatives during the mobilization and transition phase.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field.

10+ years of experience in utility, infrastructure, or industrial project delivery with at least 5 years in transition, mobilization, or commissioning roles.

Proven track record of leading mobilization and transition activities for large-scale O&M contracts.

Knowledge of commissioning, handover, and operational readiness processes.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams under tight timelines.

Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.

Excellent command of English; Arabic is an asset, French desirable.

Valid driving license.
