Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Translate written content accurately and contextually between languages, ensuring the message maintains its intended tone and meaning.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-specific terminology to provide precise translations for technical documents, marketing materials, and legal contracts.
- Edit and proofread translated texts to ensure grammatical correctness and adherence to original content, enhancing readability and flow.
- Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to clarify project requirements, timelines, and specific nuances in language usage.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, demonstrating foundational knowledge in language theory and practice.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience in specialized fields such as legal, medical, or technical sectors.
- Proficiency in at least two languages, with native-level fluency in the target language to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Experience with translation management software and CAT tools to enhance productivity and maintain quality.
