Roles & Responsibilities
As a Graduate Chinese English Translator, you will support the team by facilitating communication with Chinese stakeholders. This entry-level role is designed to provide fresh graduates with practical experience in cross-cultural communication and coordination in an international work environment. You will work closely with engineers, procurement, and management teams to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate technical, legal, and business documents from Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Support verbal and written communication between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, logistics, etc.) to support translation needs.
- Assist in interpreting during meetings, site visits, and supplier interactions when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Translation, Languages, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field with a GPA above 2.5 out of 4.
- Recent graduate or up to 3 years of internship/work experience in translation.
- Must be under thirty-five (35) years of age.
- Must not have previously benefited from any government or private initiative.
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English.
