Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate and optimize transport routes, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries, considering factors like traffic and road conditions.
  • Resolve transport-related issues and complaints, providing prompt and effective solutions to maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all transport activities adhere to legal standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless transport operations.
  • Implement and maintain transport management systems (TMS) and other relevant software, maximizing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze transport data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Exhibits strong industry knowledge within the freight forwarding or logistics sector.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
