Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in transport modelling and traffic engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in Dubai.
  • Strong proficiency in strategic transport modeling platforms such as PTV VISUM, Citilabs Cube Voyager, EMME, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated understanding of transport model development, transportation planning principles, public transport systems, transit-oriented development (TOD), and relevant urban planning policies.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver transport modelling and planning projects through all stages, including effective interpretation and presentation of results to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Practical experience in transport planning, including site access evaluation, development planning, and citywide mobility assessments.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in junction analysis and microsimulation using software such as SIDRA, SYNCHRO, HCM, VISSIM, etc., to support TIS submissions.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive transport planning reports, covering:
    • Existing conditions analysis
    • Trip generation and distribution
    • Junction capacity assessment
    • Parking demand and supply analysis
