Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We wish to strengthen our Casablanca team and are recruiting a Transport Specialist who will ensure the continuous supply of logistics platforms by contacting suppliers in Europe and organizing the transport of goods from suppliers in Europe to logistics platforms, in order to ensure optimal conditions in terms of time and cost.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Administrative monitoring and organization of transport between platforms in Europe and France
Communication with suppliers to gather essential logistical information (goods, pallets, weight, etc.)
Search for transport solutions via our database, transport exchanges and other sources
Management and updating of documents related to transport operations
Support in negotiating rates and conditions with carriers
Order tracking and coordination between the various stakeholders in the logistics process
Participation in the optimization of transport costs and times
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's/Master's degree in logistics, business or a similar field
French C1 and English B2; proficiency in another foreign language would be an asset
At least 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation and/or customer service
Basic Excel skills
Communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage stress and anticipate needs
Analytical skills and responsiveness
Programs used: SAP, TMS.
