Roles & Responsibilities

About The Role :
The sorting facility supervisor is responsible for supervising daily sorting operations and ensuring all parcels are received, processed and dispatched correctly and on schedule. The role involves coordinating with team leaders and team staff, maintaining workflow efficiency and supporting the sorting facility manager in achieving operational targets.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Represent Bosta in communications with vendors.
  • Plan and execute daily/nightly line haul operations, ensuring efficient freight movement.
  • Supervise, coach, and provide feedback to line haul drivers and clerical staff.
  • Assign routes, manage workloads, and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like on-time performance and cost.
  • Handle performance issues, disciplinary actions, and resolve driver concerns.
  • Support your team in daily management of Line Haul activities, including managing the logistics and transportation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics / Transportation / Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Fleet Operations or logistics, with a focus on line haul operations or related function.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and fleet management systems.
  • Able to work Night shifts is must.
