Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the travel operations team.
  • Ensure daily operations meet accuracy, timeliness, and compliance standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Monitor and manage GDS transactions (issuance, reissues, refunds, exchanges).
  • Build and maintain partnerships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and DMCs.
  • Supervise travel arrangements for corporate, leisure, and MICE clients.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and service-related problems.
  • Analyze operational performance and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Control costs and drive productivity and profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Stay current with industry trends, airline policies, and travel technologies

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in travel agency operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Travel B2B platforms, GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.) and ticketing procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
