Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the travel operations team.
- Ensure daily operations meet accuracy, timeliness, and compliance standards.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor and manage GDS transactions (issuance, reissues, refunds, exchanges).
- Build and maintain partnerships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and DMCs.
- Supervise travel arrangements for corporate, leisure, and MICE clients.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and service-related problems.
- Analyze operational performance and provide improvement recommendations.
- Control costs and drive productivity and profitability.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a high-performing team.
- Stay current with industry trends, airline policies, and travel technologies
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in travel agency operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Travel B2B platforms, GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.) and ticketing procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
