Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Travel Operations Manager to oversee our company’s travel program. As a key part of our operations team, you will ensure seamless travel bookings, Airline reservation, Hotel/Car rental reservation, manage supplier relationships, support automation initiatives. This is an opportunity to work with an international organization and contribute to cost-effective, high-quality travel services.
Desired Candidate Profile
Oversee the planning and booking of flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services using online booking tools and global distribution systems (GDS). Provide pre- travel, during- travel, and post-travel support to employees, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly. Manage urgent and last-minute travel requests, including crisis handling during disruptions.
Monitor travel expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with company travel policies. Negotiate competitive rates with airlines, hotels, and other travel vendors. Ensure compliance with IATA, BSP, and relevant government and industry regulations.
Supervise and verify reports for IATA, aviation authorities, airlines, hotel chains, and car rental companies. Conduct regular data quality audits and implement process improvements where needed. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse travel reports, and recommend strategic enhancements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers and internal stakeholders. Stay updated on travel industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. Diploma in IATA or a related field.
