Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based primarily in Beirut, but it includes frequent international travel (Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe).

As a Service Technician, you will be the ambassador for ITS in the field. You will play an essential role by ensuring the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our packaging machinery and automated systems. You will work directly with our clients to guarantee the performance, efficiency, and safety of their equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair packaging machines and mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal production line output.

Use diagnostic skills to effectively resolve complex technical issues.

Read and interpret technical diagrams, mechanical blueprints, and electrical schematics.

Provide technical support and training to clients on the safe and efficient use of our equipment.

Collaborate with clients to build trust and respond quickly to their needs.

Document all interventions and submit clear, detailed service reports.

Requirements

Proven experience (5+ years) in the installation, maintenance, and repair of packaging machinery or similar automated systems.

Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and diagnostic skills.

Good understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and networking principles (an asset).

Ability to use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments.

Impeccable communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.

Valid driver s license and total availability to travel (Valid Passport required).

Ability to lift loads up to 35 kg.

Degree in Mechanical Technology, Electromechanics, Automation, or equivalent training.
