Roles & Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing:
Monitor and manage daily cash position across all bank accounts. Assist in preparing cash forecasts.
Initiate electronic funds transfers and wire payments.
Maintain bank account records, accesses, signatories and mandates, coordinate account openings, closings and changes. Serve as a point of contact for banking related matters.
Assist in managing corporate credit cards and payment platforms.
Analyze bank fees and forex charges.
Process invoices in the ERP system in a timely manner. Verify invoices to ensure that they are recorded under the correct general ledger accounts, cost centers, and projects.
Support the setup of new vendors, changes to existing vendors, and updates to banking information.
Coordinate the issuance, amendment and cancellation of performance bonds, bid bonds / tender guarantees and advance payment guarantees. Track expiry dates and conditions for all guarantees/bonds, proactively following up with business units for extensions, releases or cancellations.
Ensure compliance with internal Accounts payable and treasury policies and SOX controls.
Support internal and external audits related to treasury activities by preparing schedules and documentation.
Perform ad hoc accounts payable and treasury related responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriate.
What Required Qualifications & Experience You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
Post graduate degree, semi qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA or equivalent required.
More than 4 years of progressive experience in the same role preferably within UAE.
Exposure to various direct and indirect tax laws in the GCC region desired.
Advance knowledge on Excel and other MS Office applications.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Strong knowledge of bank account management, cash management, and bank guarantees/bonds preferably in UAE.
Deep understanding of accounts payment processes ideally in UAE.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to attend in-person interviews.
Effective communication and people skills.
