Job Summary:

• The incumbent will be required to strategically lead the Treasury Function, managing treasury activities that encompass cash management, corporate finance, and risk management, ensuring alignment with company's strategic objectives and adherence to the Treasury Governance Framework and policy.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Strategy:

• Develop and implement comprehensive treasury strategies aligned with the company's financial goals and risk tolerance
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making & drive business growth
• Evaluate capital expenditures, and portfolio management to optimize returns & minimize risk.

Cash and Liquidity Management:

• Manage the company's cash and liquidity positions, ensuring adequate funding for operations & investments
• Develop and maintain accurate cash forecasts to establish & update cash flow positions and funding needs
• Oversee the management of bank accounts, including account organization, cash flow monitoring, and controls

Financial Reporting and Planning:

• Ensures timely and accurate financial reports and plans; to increase financial transparency in management reporting and business performance
• Deliver accurate and insightful treasury reports to investment management committee, ensuring that all reporting is timely, informative, and supports strategic decision-making
• Develop and maintain external financial relationships with banks & the Ministry of Finance

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Analyze various scenarios & risks and developing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Manage foreign currency exposure and develop foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and company policies related to treasury
• Coordinate with auditors (internal, external), providing necessary documentation
• Establish and oversee risk management practices within the Treasury Function to enhance the company's ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, including market, credit, and operational risks

Banking and Cash Management:

• Manage the company's banking relationships and contracts, ensuring effective cash management & optimized banking services
• Oversee the receipt and processing of wire transfers, as well as the management of petty cash & credit cards
• Review and enhance banking-related services required for operational needs, ensuring efficient & cost-effective solutions

Minimum Required Qualifications, Certificates & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration with specialization in Financial Management or Accounting in or a related field.
• Masters degree is preferred in finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in treasury, investments, or a related field, preferably in the transportation sector out of which 2-3 years in a senior leadership or similar role
• A history of conducting comprehensive due diligence and financial analysis to make informed treasury decisions.
• Leadership experience, including building, managing, and mentoring a team of treasury professionals.
• A track record of maintaining compliance with financial regulations and managing treasury risks effectively.

Certificates & Trainings:

• Any relevant certification or training such as:
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
• Certified Investment Manager (CIM)

Skills

• Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments.
• Ability to work autonomously and be part of the broader team.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments, and debt instruments
• Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent English Communication Skills, Arabic would be an advantage.
• Presentation Skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with
• Prioritizing workload and meeting tight deadlines with high quality output.
• Customer Oriented.
• Proficiency in financial analysis software and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Familiarity with treasury-related legal and regulatory requirements.
