Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain tubular running tools (TRT), casing and tubing running systems
- Monitor and record make-up data, including torque, turns, and load parameters
- Assist in setup, inspection, and calibration of running equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic issues in real time
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, HSE standards, and client specifications
- Collaborate with drill crews, engineers, and offshore/onshore teams to deliver operations safely and efficiently
- Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain equipment logs
- Report daily operational activities and provide recommendations for improvement
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical Diploma, HND, or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician in Tubular Running Services
- Familiarity with torque/turn systems, hydraulic tools, and data acquisition equipment
- Offshore experience is an advantage; onshore oil and gas experience accepted
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and operational manuals
