TRS (Tubular Running Services) Technician GET Global Group

1. TRS Operations

• Operate Smart and Conventional TRS tools for running casing, tubing, and other tubulars on the rig floor.
• Assist in lowering and installation of various casing sizes and tubing strings during drilling and completion operations.
• Support casing running operations up to required depths and troubleshoot operational issues during running.
• Monitor and operate TRS equipment such as CRTi, CDS, ODS and Power Tongs during tubular running operations.
• Maintain correct make-up and break-out torque for various sizes of casing and tubular connections.

2. Rig Floor Equipment Handling

Work with and assist in the operation of drilling handling tools and equipment including:

• V-Door
• Automated Catwalk
• Pneumatic Winches
• Rotary Table
• Top Drive System
• Travelling Block
• Kelly Swivel
• Driller s Console
• Stabbing Board
• Manual Tongs
• FMS / RMS
• Spider Slips (Manual & Pneumatic)
• Single Joint Elevators
• Safety Clamps and Jaws

3. Rig-Up / Rig-Down & Maintenance

• Perform rig-up and rig-down operations of TRS equipment at the drilling rig.
• Install and replace high-pressure hydraulic hoses for TRS units and power tongs.
• Carry out greasing, lubrication, and minor repairs of TRS tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of TRS equipment.

4. Well Control & Drilling Awareness

• Maintain general awareness of drilling processes and wellbore conditions during TRS operations.
• Identify well influx or kick situations and immediately inform the drilling team.
• Assist drilling crew during stuck pipe situations and other well control events.
• Understand the use of fill-up tools and maintain wellbore pressure balance during casing running.
• Have knowledge of safety valves, safety subs, BOP systems, and wellhead equipment.
