Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview
The Tunnel Engineer will contribute to the design and delivery of tunnelling and underground infrastructure projects, focusing on structural support systems and permanent lining design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop tunnel and underground structure designs.
- Design structural support systems and permanent lining solutions.
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support design reviews and ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
Professional Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of tunnel design methodologies and standards.
- Experience with structural analysis and engineering design tools.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
