Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Efficiently remove and replace tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications for each vehicle.
  • Inspect tires for damage, wear, and pressure issues, advising customers on necessary repairs or replacements based on your expert assessment.
  • Utilize tire changing equipment, including tire machines, wheel balancers, and air compressors, maintaining their proper function and cleanliness.
  • Perform wheel balancing to ensure smooth vehicle operation, correcting any imbalances that could lead to vibrations or premature tire wear.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is essential for this role.
  • Relevant certifications in tire service or automotive repair, such as those offered by TIA (Tire Industry Association), are highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in a tire shop, auto repair shop, or related environment is a significant advantage.
