Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans and test cases to ensure software functionality meets business requirements, focusing on real-world user scenarios.
  • Actively participate in requirements gathering and review sessions, providing valuable feedback to ensure testability and clarity of specifications.
  • Perform thorough testing of software applications, identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects with detailed steps to reproduce, using defect tracking tools effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to understand and clarify defects, ensuring a smooth and efficient resolution process.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify that bug fixes and new features do not introduce new issues, maintaining software stability.
  • Create and maintain a library of reusable test data, optimizing testing efficiency and reducing redundancy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrates 3+ years of experience in UAT testing, showcasing practical application of testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Has experience in the Banking & Financial Services industry, understanding the intricacies of financial systems and regulations.
  • Exhibits proficiency in creating and executing test cases, utilizing test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail), ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Displays strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating clear and concise communication with stakeholders.
