Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design UAV airframes and structural components using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks)

  • Develop and optimize aerodynamic configurations

  • Perform structural analysis and ensure strength, safety, and durability

  • Integrate payload systems, sensors, and subsystems into UAV platforms

  • Optimize weight distribution for stability and performance

  • Conduct simulations and support prototyping and testing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design (UAV, aerospace, or robotics preferred)

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or similar)

  • Strong knowledge of UAV design, aerodynamics, and flight mechanics

  • Experience in structural design and finite element analysis (FEA)

  • Knowledge of material selection and lightweight design principles

  • Familiarity with propulsion systems (motors, propellers, ESCs)

  • Experience in UAV systems integration and product development

  • Hands-on experience in prototyping and testing

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (3D printing, CNC, composites) is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional engineering team
