Role & responsibilities

• Monitor Equipment Performance: Continuously observe operation of UHT fillers and downstream lines, identifying malfunctions or performance issues.
  
• Troubleshooting & Minor Repairs: Diagnose and resolve basic equipment problems; escalate complex issues to senior technicians.
  
• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of filling/packing equipment.
  
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, PPE usage, and equipment handling guidelines.
  
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, downtime, and incidents.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment reliability in the UHT packaging process.
  
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth plant operations.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical Experience:
  
• UHT Filler operation (Tetra Pak A3 series).
  
• SIG Combi Bloc (CB-1224, CB-312, CB-3 & CB-1 series).
  
• Downstream Equipment (DE line): straw applicators, shrink film, cardboard packers, helix.
  
• Basic troubleshooting and minor repairs.
  
• Industry Experience:
  
• UHT plant downstream operations (post-milk filling in packets).
  
• Food/Beverage packaging industry exposure.
  
• Soft Skills:
  
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
  
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
  
• Language Requirements:
  
• Mandatory: English (read, write, speak).
  
• Preferred: Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu (an advantage).
