The first cement producer established in the UAE, Union Cement Company (UCC) was set up in 1972 in the Industrial Area of Khor Kwair. The first line of production began in the year 1975 with second and third in the years 1977 and 1979, respectively. UCC commissioned its plant 4 in the year 2006. It serves to the markets of the Middle East, Gulf and East Africa.

 

The first cement producer to be certified with ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 in the Middle East, Union Cement Company has a range of products that include:

 

• Ordinary Portland Cement
• Oil Well Cement
• High Sulphate Resisting Cement
• Moderate Sulphate Resisting Cement
