Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Corporate Deposit Growth:

Increase overall corporate deposits by onboarding new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones.

Develop strategies to attract high-value corporate clients and maintain long-term engagement.

2. CASA and Operative Accounts Growth:

Drive growth in Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) balances by encouraging corporate clients to maintain and increase their deposits.

Work closely with clients to understand their cash management needs and offer appropriate banking solutions.

3. Digital Banking Migration:

Contribute to the bank s business strategy by migrating corporate clients to the ABO Digital platform.

Promote awareness and adoption of digital banking solutions to enhance operational efficiency for corporate customers.

4. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

Expand the Corporate Banking client base by identifying and prospecting potential customers.

Manage and nurture relationships with existing corporate clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

5. Account Opening & Onboarding:

Establish new account relationships with corporate clients, particularly those interested in digital products and services.

Facilitate seamless onboarding onto the bank s digital platforms and ensure customer awareness of available services.

6. Customer Engagement & Retention:

Regularly meet with existing and prospective clients to understand their banking needs and provide tailored solutions.

Foster long-term, profitable relationships with key clients to ensure customer loyalty and continued business growth.

7. Cross-Selling Bank Products:

Identify opportunities to cross-sell corporate, institutional, and personal banking products to maximize revenue generation.

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive banking solutions that address client needs.

8. Market Representation:

Act as a positive representative of the bank in the market by participating in industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.

Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitor offerings to ensure the bank remains competitive.

12. Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, coach, and motivate the corporate liabilities team to achieve deposit growth and retention targets.

Set clear KPIs and monitor individual/team performance regularly.

Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement development plans.

Foster a high-performance, client-centric culture within the team.

13. Portfolio Management & Segmentation

Segment corporate clients based on value, industry, and business potential.

Manage and prioritize high-value client portfolios (Top-tier / Key Accounts).

Identify underperforming accounts and implement corrective action plans.

Ensure optimal balance between acquisition and retention efforts.

14. Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze portfolio performance, deposit trends, and retention metrics.

Prepare regular MIS reports for senior management.

Use data insights to refine acquisition and retention strategies.

Track digital adoption and CASA growth performance.

15. Sales Pipeline & Forecast Management

Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective corporate clients.

Forecast deposit growth and track progress against targets.

Ensure consistent follow-up and conversion of leads into active clients.

16. Revenue Optimization & Profitability

Drive profitability by optimizing deposit mix and cost of funds.

Monitor margins, pricing strategies, and fee income from corporate clients.

Collaborate with product teams to structure competitive yet profitable solutions.

17. Process Innovation, Automation & Digitalization:

Drive continuous process improvement through innovative, automated, and digital solutions once required

18.Business Control & Governance

Ensure adherence to the bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all operational activities

19.Self/People Development & Continuous Learning:

Continually update oneself through knowledge acquisition, on-the-job training, or project involvement; advocate and support others to do the same.

Omani Nationals Only

Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, or Economics

Minimum experience of 7 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking
