Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and lead the annual Events & CSR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance market positioning and brand leadership.
- Advise senior management on partnerships and high-value initiatives.
Events Strategy & Governance
- Oversee planning and execution of all corporate, internal, and external events.
- Ensure alignment of events with brand strategy and ROI objectives.
- Establish governance frameworks, standards, and performance tracking mechanisms for all events.
CSR Strategy & Impact Management
- Develop and implement the CSR framework aligned with ESG and sustainability priorities.
- Build and manage partnerships with government entities, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure CSR initiatives deliver measurable social, environmental, and reputational impact.
Stakeholder Management
- Own and manage key external stakeholder relationships relevant to Events and CSR.
- Represent the Bank in high-level external engagements, forums, and community initiatives.
- Strengthening institutional reputation through strategic stakeholder collaboration.
Financial Oversight
- Manage annual Events and CSR budgets ensuring optimal allocation and ROI.
- Oversee procurement processes and negotiate vendor and agency agreements.
- Ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality and brand standards.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure full adherence to internal policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain transparency and proper documentation for all Events and CSR activities.
- Ensure risk management and compliance considerations are embedded in execution.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Planning the budgeting process for events and CSR projects, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Track expenses, negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions, and report on budget performance for each initiative.
Internal and External Communication:
- Collaborate with the Social Media and Communication team to promote events and CSR activities across various channels, including press releases, newsletters, and social media.
- Ensure all communication materials related to events and CSR initiatives are accurate, engaging, and align with the bank s brand standards.
- Utilize data analytics to assess communication effectiveness and refine strategies for greater audience engagement
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Omani National
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master s degree is an advantage).
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Events, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Corporate Communications, or Marketing, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Events, CSR, Corporate Communications, or related fields.
