Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Define and organize the strategies for managing the flow and inventory of raw materials, finished or semi-finished products from procurement to shipment to customers, with a constant objective of optimizing the cost/quality/delivery time ratio.

To implement the Industrial and Commercial Plan (PIC) of the unit (led by the UO Manager)

Analyze and validate the proposed scenarios for the Master Production Schedule (MPS)

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the services under its authority (purchasing, supplies, store management, internal and external flow management)

Allocate human and material resources according to the needs of the UO

Coordinate the flow of information between internal and external stakeholders (forecasts, monitoring of achievements, etc.)

Constantly seeking the best compromise between cost, quality, and delivery time in logistical choices.

Ensuring proper store management, particularly through inventory accuracy indicators

To detect and analyze problems related to transport or internal logistics and to implement appropriate solutions.

Analyze the activity's performance indicators

Facilitate the management routines of his department and participate in those of the UO Management Committee

Participate in and lead improvement projects
