Upstream Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compile Upstream Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) for client submission.
  
• Coordinate and follow up with PMC / client billing engineers for approval of submitted IPCs.
  
• Review and revise billing quantities based on client comments and approved drawings.
  
• Ensure all supporting documents (measurements, certifications, drawings, approvals) are complete and properly attached.
  
• Maintain systematic billing records, logs, and correspondence for project audits.
  
• Work closely with project QS, planning, and site teams for accurate and timely billing.
  
• Support management in progress reporting and cash flow projections.
  
• Ensure all billing activities comply with contractual and project requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Engineering Graduate (B.E./B.Tech) with minimum 7 years of experience in upstream billing and payment certification.
  
• Strong understanding of contractual procedures and client billing systems.
  
• Proven experience in preparing IPCs and coordinating with PMCs or consultants.
  
• Skilled in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and documentation management.
  
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple billing cycles efficiently.
  
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with project and client teams.
