Job Profile

Preparation of job/contract specific ITPs. Preparation of WPS and Review of PQR. Overall responsible for the welding process performance to fulfil the quality and customer needs. Ensuring that welding operation complies with relevant welding standards such as AWS/ EN/ DIN/ ISO / Customer standards. Creating and updating welding documents for the welding-related processes. Qualifying WPS/PQR according to material, process, and customer requirements as per Code. Qualifying WPQ based on material grades, process, and customer requirements as per Code. Ensure the incoming inspection for Electrodes and other consumables for welding. Welding related technical training and evaluation for welders. Responsible for incoming Material Inspections and compilation & review of MTC s / NDT Reports and release of materials. Technical support to operation team on daily basis in the Welding and other related process. Monitor welding hold points (i.e., verify and witness fit-up, weld preparation, tack welds, and root passes) as required in the QC Plan.

Perform visual examination of completed welds and /or weldment for compliance with applicable codes and standards. Ensure the traceability and identification being followed effectively within the welding process. Manage & coordinate the internal and external audits. implementation of QA/QC activities. Maintains calibration of inspection measuring and test equipment s. Control of internal and external Non-conformance. Raising NCRs and initiate timely corrective action and preventive actions. Assure that qualified welders are being used & their performance monitored. Incoming, In process, Final Inspection and Quality assurance. Preparation of QA documentation like CAPA, GD&T, MSA, SPC, 7 QC tools. Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents. SOP Preparation, Quality Plan Preparations, Visual Inspection SOP.
