Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Utility Engineer to manage and oversee the installation, coordination, and maintenance of underground utilities for infrastructure and civil projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with design specifications, authority requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of underground utilities including:

  • Water supply networks

  • Sewerage and drainage systems

  • Stormwater pipelines

  • Telecom and electrical ducting

• Review drawings, IFC documents, and utility layouts

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities

• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations and standards (e.g., ADM, ADDC, Etisalat, etc.)

• Manage site activities related to excavation, laying, backfilling, and testing of pipelines

• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within schedule and budget

• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of utility systems

• Prepare technical reports, method statements, and as-built drawings

• Identify and resolve site issues related to utilities and clashes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 3–8 years of UAE experience in infrastructure and utility works

• Strong knowledge of underground utility systems and coordination

• Experience in road and infrastructure projects

• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority standards and approvals

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple site activities

• UAE MOE Equivalency Certificate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on ADNOC or government infrastructure projects

• Knowledge of NOCs, permits, and authority coordination processes

• UAE driving license (preferred)
