Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with government authorities (DEWA, RTA, Etisalat, DU, etc.) for utility NOCs, approvals, and relocations.
  • Review and verify utility designs, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for compliance with project standards.
  • Plan and monitor utility diversion/relocation schedules to align with infrastructure project timelines.
  • Supervise on-site execution of utility works ensuring quality, safety, and minimal service disruption.
  • Identify and resolve clashes between existing utilities and new infrastructure works through redesign or relocation.
  • Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and assist in cost/BOQ verification for utility works.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5–10 years’ experience in utility works for large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in sewerage, storm water, water pipelines, and road works (installation, diversion & maintenance).
  • Familiarity with UAE authorities’ standards and NOC/approval processes (DEWA, RTA, Etisalat, DU, etc.).
  • Proven ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling, BOQs, and cost control for utility works.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
