Job Purpose
The UX/UI Designer will lead the design of seamless, modern, and intuitive digital experiences across banking, wealth management, and trading platforms. This role blends design excellence with financial domain expertise crafting user journeys, high-fidelity interfaces, and scalable design systems that support complex trading and wealth products. The ideal candidate brings strong collaboration skills, hands-on design capabilities, and a deep understanding of AI-powered personalization and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive innovative design thinking and explore new AI-powered user journeys and personalized experiences across banking, wealth, and trading.
- Conduct hands-on UX activities such as user journey mapping, task flows, wireframes, and experience flows.
- Create high-fidelity UI designs aligned with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and modern mobile design patterns using design system components.
- Support, maintain, and evolve the design system, ensuring scalability, consistency, and seamless integration with engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and data/AI teams in an agile delivery model; actively participate in stand-ups, refinement, planning, and retrospectives.
- Review front-end builds to ensure pixel-perfect execution, usability, accessibility, and adherence to the design system.
- Work with engineering teams to resolve design gaps, provide clarifications, and ensure accurate feature delivery.
- Create interactive prototypes for user testing, stakeholder presentations, and feasibility validation with developers.
- Simplify and translate complex wealth and trading concepts (global stocks, crypto assets, portfolio insights) into intuitive and compliant user experiences.
- Design with a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, risk disclosures, and secure user interaction principles.
- 4 7 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years working on trading, wealth management, fintech, or investment-related products.
- Proven ability to design for complex financial flows, data-heavy experiences, and real-time interactions.
- Strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first and responsive design, design systems, and high-fidelity UI.
- Hands-on experience using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and usability heuristics.
- Experience working in agile product teams with cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple, user-friendly journeys.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
4 7 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years working on trading, wealth management, fintech, or investment-related products. Proven ability to design for complex financial flows, data-heavy experiences, and real-time interactions. Strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first and responsive design, design systems, and high-fidelity UI. Hands-on experience using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and usability heuristics. Experience working in agile product teams with cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with AI-driven personalization, predictive experiences, or data-driven interfaces is a strong plus. Ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple, user-friendly journeys. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of global trading instruments (stocks, ETFs, crypto, derivatives) is a plus.
