Roles & Responsibilities

VBA / Power BI Engineer


Job Description

  • Develop and maintain VBA macros to automate business processes and optimize reporting
  • Create and deploy Power BI dashboards (data collection, modeling and visualization)
  • Manipulate and transform data with Power Query to ensure source quality and consistency
  • Design decision support and predictive analysis tools from multiple data sources
  • Guarantee the performance, security and reliability of the tools developed
  • Write technical documentation and train end users
  • Collaborate with IT, data and business teams to improve processes and anticipate future needs

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical skills

  • Languages ​​and tools:
    • VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) advanced development of Excel macros, forms and automations
    • Power BI dashboard design, DAX measures, modeling and publishing reports
    • Power Query data cleaning, transformation and consolidation
    • Databases and SQL queries connecting, extracting and updating data
    • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, reporting automation)
    • Knowledge of API, data integration and inter-application automation (Outlook, SAP, PLM, etc.)
  • Project management:
    • Analysis of functional and technical needs
    • Design of automation and decision support solutions
    • Unit testing and functional validation
    • Documentation writing and user support
  • Maintenance and support:
    • Continuous improvement of existing tools
