Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform requirements engineering and detail diagnostic specifications (UDS protocols, associated services and QLAH specifications).

Analyze and verify network test results , in particular CAN traces from networking tests and flashing protocols.

Create and maintain the reference technical documentation (CAN traces, flash protocols, results documentation).

Ensure the security of the diagnosis and deployment of software updates (UNECE Flash, Over-the-air update, E2E security).

Manage the use of specific tools in the VW ecosystem (DANTE, ODIS Engineering, CANalyzer/CANoe, Jira).

Desired Candidate Profile

Profile:

As a vehicle diagnostics expert, you are responsible for ensuring the compliance of communication protocols and the diagnosticability of control units for the Volkswagen Group. Serving as the central technical interface between the development and validation teams, you verify network test results and the consistency of diagnostic services. Meticulous and possessing strong analytical skills, you lead the resolution of complex faults to guarantee the integrity of embedded systems.

Desired profile: Engineering degree (electronics, Embedded Systems or Mechatronics).

Required experience: Proven experience in automotive diagnostics (UDS, ISO TP) is essential. Proficiency with Vector tools (CANoe/CAPL) and knowledge of Volkswagen standards (S42 systems, KPM) are a significant strategic advantage.

Soft Skills: Analytical and synthesis skills, autonomy, methodological rigor and relational ease for cross-functional coordination.
