Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main missions

  • To provide agricultural and veterinary advisory services as well as agricultural and veterinary quarantine operations .

  • Intervene at border posts, ports, airports and field centers attached to the ministry.

  • To guarantee food safety , plant health and animal health in accordance with applicable standards.

  • Apply regulatory procedures and strengthen the level of legal compliance.

  • To contribute to the speed of operational procedures and the improvement of the quality of services provided.

  • Manage emergency situations and exceptional missions according to operational needs.

  • Respect the performance indicators (KPIs) defined by the supervisory authority.

  • To work according to the ministry's internal procedures and to ensure quality service to users.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required qualifications

  • University degree in:

    • Agricultural engineering (Agronomist)

    • Veterinary medicine (Veterinary)

  • Diplomas duly legalised and recognised by the competent authorities (Ministry of Higher Education).

  • Valid authorization/license to practice professionally (for veterinarians and agricultural engineers).

  • My mastery of Arabic and English .

  • Ability to work according to a flexible schedule (including continuous 24/7 service depending on the sites).

  • Strict adherence to United Arab Emirates labor laws and disciplinary rules.

  • Ability to work in high-load operational environments (ports, airports, borders).
