Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of veterinary pharmaceuticals and equipment, meeting or exceeding set targets through proactive client engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary clinics and hospitals, acting as a trusted advisor on product applications and benefits.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, effectively communicating complex information to diverse audiences of veterinary professionals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights that refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage a designated territory, including planning sales routes, scheduling appointments, and optimizing time management for maximum efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports, adhering to company policies and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and product knowledge through continuous learning and professional development.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of sales experience within the veterinary pharmaceutical or equipment industry.
  • Exhibits a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Has a strong understanding of veterinary medicine, animal health products, and the veterinary market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and secure sales.
  • Exhibits a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales.
