Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
- Administer vaccinations and preventative care to protect animals from diseases and infections.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including surgical procedures and post-operative care for injured or ill animals.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their animals' health, treatment options, and preventative measures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary college.
- Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the relevant jurisdiction, demonstrating compliance with regulatory standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting, showcasing hands-on knowledge and skills.
- Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and pathology to inform treatment decisions.
