Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive origination and sales of Cash Management and Trade Finance solutions in partnership with Coverage and Product teams.
  • Identify, structure, and execute customized working capital and liquidity management solutions for corporate clients across industries.
  • Lead the growth of FAB s Cash & Trade franchise by acquiring new clients, expanding share of wallet, and deepening relationships with existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow and timely mandate closures.
  • Coordinate with Coverage teams to deliver client-centric proposals, RFP responses, and advisory presentations.
  • Contribute to the strategic expansion of FAB s Transaction Banking footprint across the UAE through targeted sector and regional growth initiatives.

Product Structuring & Advisory

  • Structure complex Cash Management and Trade Finance deals, including Supply Chain Finance (SCF), Receivable Financing (RF), and bespoke open account solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Product Innovation and Technology teams to introduce new value-added products, digital payment solutions, and liquidity structures.
  • Ensure CASA growth through tailored liquidity management and liability structuring for corporate clients.
  • Deliver expert guidance to clients on regulatory compliance, operational risk, and digital adoption for cash and trade solutions.

Portfolio & Revenue Management

  • Achieve annual revenue targets for Transaction Banking, CASA growth, and Risk Adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC).
  • Monitor product utilization, profitability, and client engagement to ensure sustainable business growth.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell within the existing client base to maximize wallet share.
  • Prepare detailed client account plans, ensuring alignment with broader relationship strategies and coverage objectives.
  • Work with Risk and Credit partners to develop sound credit proposals supporting structured trade facilities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams to deliver seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with regional and international FAB teams to develop cross-border transaction opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and audit standards.
  • Contribute to the design of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline deal execution and mitigate operational risks.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations, FAB s internal policies, and global transaction banking standards.
  • Proactively manage and monitor fraud, credit, and operational risks in all client engagements.
  • Maintain strong governance and documentation standards across all trade and cash transactions.
  • Uphold FAB s three lines of defense risk management model in all decision-making processes.

Leadership & Market Insight

  • Support the Unit Head in mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, regulatory changes, and emerging digital banking technologies.
  • Contribute to product development discussions and participate in external industry events to enhance FAB s visibility in the transaction banking space.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Commerce (Master s degree preferred).

Minimum 10 years of Transaction Banking experience, with a proven track record in Cash Management, Trade Finance, and Payments.

Strong client origination and relationship management capabilities.

Deep knowledge of trade structures, liquidity management, and digital channels.

Excellent analytical, structuring, and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle complex transactions and deliver under pressure.

High-level interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Solid understanding of banking operations, credit, and regulatory frameworks in the UAE.
