This role is ideal for a video editor with a strong background in music education, tasked with editing engaging content for a YouTube channel and online courses. You will work with pre-recorded footage, ensuring clarity, pacing, and visual appeal, while understanding the unique needs of music learners. The position is remote and project-based, with a backlog of videos ready for editing and the potential for future assignments. Familiarity with music notation and educational content is essential, as previous editors have struggled without this expertise.Deliverables- Edit video lessons and course materials for clarity, pacing, and engagement- Sync video with music notation and on-screen elements as needed- Ensure final videos are polished and ready for upload to YouTube and course platforms- Collaborate with the content creator to understand project requirements and feedback- Meet deadlines for each assigned video projectRequirements- Proven experience in video editing, preferably for educational or music-related content- Ability to read music and understand music education concepts- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely- Availability for a single project with potential for ongoing work
