Roles & Responsibilities
The Video Editor will create polished, eye-catching video content for social media by editing raw footage and enhancing it with text overlays, captions, and motion graphics. This role requires a strong understanding of how to optimize videos for engagement across major social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing for Social Media- Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Add text overlays, captions, and motion graphics to enhance engagement and performance.
- Work with the marketing team to review video performance metrics and optimize content based on results.
- Ensure all videos align with brand identity and resonate with the target audience.
- Repurpose video content to meet the unique requirements of different platforms, including stories, reels, and TikTok videos.
- Collaborate closely with social media managers and marketing teams to align video content with the content calendar and overall marketing strategy.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Experience- 2+ years of experience in video editing, particularly for social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, or similar video editing tools.
- Experience adding text overlays, captions, and motion graphics.
- Understanding of how to optimize video content for engagement on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and collaborative communication skills.
