Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Produce videos
  • Covering important events, using cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Create & edit videos
  • Supervise and train the Junior Video Editor
  • Create and produce animated videos
  • Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips, and other important aspects of the project
  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to the needed specifications

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s Degree in graphic design, fine arts, applied arts, or any related field
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
  • Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphic is preferred
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior-level editors
  • Must be a detail-oriented team player with exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Expert in colour correction techniques including DaVinci Resolve
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite of Products, including Adobe CC Premiere & After Effects
  • Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects
