Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Produce videos
- Covering important events, using cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
- Create & edit videos
- Supervise and train the Junior Video Editor
- Create and produce animated videos
- Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips, and other important aspects of the project
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to the needed specifications
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s Degree in graphic design, fine arts, applied arts, or any related field
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphic is preferred
- Ability to mentor and coach junior-level editors
- Must be a detail-oriented team player with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Expert in colour correction techniques including DaVinci Resolve
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite of Products, including Adobe CC Premiere & After Effects
- Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects
