Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute editing of digital outputs for mobile and social distribution.
- Understand our client (brand guidelines, pace, colour palettes, style) and social platforms.
- Utilise your understanding in platform technical specs (Meta, Snap, TT, X, YT).
- Demonstrate excellent storytelling and conceptual skills.
- Consistently deliver across various types of outputs, projects, clients and platforms.
- Follow all best practices in workflow, tools, file management, communication and team roles.
- Execute post production briefs, on time, to spec and to the standard of quality as outlined by the Project Manager / Business Partner.
- Convey your knowledge of best practices on social media channels and demonstrate that you re willing to challenge them to bring something new to life.
- High-level understanding and experience with Adobe Suite editing, Premiere Pro and a high-level of understanding of the Adobe Suite editing software.
- Strong understanding of colour correction, grading, text animation and audio fundamentals.
- Ability to compose live action, with some animated or 3D elements and create VFX elements.
- Strong technical background in video production and editing.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver work following the deadline with a positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, support a team, adapt to rapidly shifting priorities, while maintaining strong time management skills.
- Ability to navigate uncertain and difficult situations independently - managing up where appropriate.
- Monitor and review the quality of the Vertical post-production workflow and output. Set the standard of excellence.
- Participate in project debriefs and ensure application of learnings to future projects.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate at all levels within (and sometimes outside) the organisation.
- You have a strong technical background of 2-3 years in video production and editing.
- You have in-depth functional knowledge and a deep understanding all aspects of editing and producing photos and videos through a creative executional lens.
- You know the best practices on social media channels like X, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook and you re willing to challenge them to bring something new to life.
- A strong aesthetic sense, with excellent attention to detail.
- You re able to build a narrative and are a strong storyteller.
- You re self-motivated and have excellent time management skills.
- You have the ability to multitask, work independently and support a team. The team is everything
- You re someone who takes initiative and is focused on always improving.
- You re keen to be part of a team and contribute to the bigger picture of the agency, it's growth and genuinely create something epic.
- You have personality, take pride in your work and don't mind getting your hands dirty.
- Bonus points for high-level animation skills, basic videography skills or an understanding of DSLR camera operation.
- Native Arabic speaker who can understand cultural contexts.
